Make a 2D Barcode or WiFi Connection QR

A product or asset label may need a compact code for a SKU, while a guest network needs a way to share connection details. QRFino includes a 2D Barcode preset for text or number data and a WiFi preset for network name, password and security type. The barcode option encodes data directly. WiFi encodes network settings; anyone who scans it may be able to connect, so use guest WiFi rather than a private network. QR generation happens in the browser. Phone behavior varies: the camera may show text, a connect prompt or another action depending on the device.

How to Generate Your QR Code

Step 1: Fill in the details

Barcode: SKU, asset number or text. WiFi: exact network name (SSID), password if required and security type.

Step 2: Customize and review privacy

Review the information before creating the code. The shared builder supports logo upload, Small 4 cm, Medium 5 cm and Large 7 cm sticker sizes, and a tagline where that field is offered. Hide phone number is available only for supported presets. Keep personal or confidential details out of public-facing codes. The inspected builder generates QR images in the browser; ordinary site and third-party resource requests can still process connection data.

Step 3: Download and print

Use the available PNG, SVG or PDF download, or print from your browser. Choose A4 in the print dialog if that option is available. Scan-test the final output on a phone before producing a batch. For outdoor use, choose water-resistant stock and keep the code unobstructed.

Why Use QRFino for This QR?

Use one free browser builder for a short barcode value or WiFi details. The preview, logo upload and print-size controls help prepare labels without an account. A short barcode value is stored directly in the code and read by compatible scanners. A WiFi code stores the SSID and, when supplied, password details; it is not a security boundary. Use guest credentials and control where the print is displayed. Neither QR has an expiry timer, but data can become stale: inventory codes may be reassigned and WiFi passwords may change. Generate a replacement when the underlying information changes and test with the actual scanner or phone.

The inspected website generates codes in the browser and does not submit these form fields to a QRFino application API. Hosting providers and third-party resources may process normal connection information. Some QR types encode data directly; others depend on QRFino or an external destination. Check the destination behavior before printing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the barcode and WiFi QR tool free?

Yes. The current QRFino builder is free and requires no sign-up.

Does a barcode QR expire?

The code has no built-in timer, but the value may become obsolete or be reassigned.

Does a WiFi QR expire?

No timer is built in. It stops connecting if the network name or password changes.

Is it safe to print my WiFi password in a QR?

Anyone who scans it may access those credentials. Use a guest network and control where the code is displayed.
